Official Nomination Notice for the Electoral District of Edmonton - Wetaskiwin

 

This notice is to advise you that the dates, times, and places of the candidate forum and voting locations for the Conservative Party of Canada nomination contest in the Electoral District of Edmonton-Wetaskiwin are as follows:

 

Candidate Nomination Forum 

Where: Nisku Inn and Conference Centre, 1101 – 4th Street, Nisku, Alberta

When: Thursday March 8, 2018 at 7:30 PM

 

Nomination Vote in Winfield

Where: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 263, 106 – 2 Ave, Winfield, Alberta

When: Friday, March 16, 2018

Registration and voting are from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

 

Nomination Vote in Wetaskiwin

Where: Wetaskiwin Senior’s Centre, 5216 – 54 Street, Wetaskiwin, Alberta

When: Friday, March 16, 2018

Registration and voting are from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

 

Nomination Vote in Nisku

Where: Nisku Recreation Centre, 606 – 18 Ave, Nisku, Alberta

When: Saturday, March 17, 2018

Registration and voting are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

 

As per the Constitution of the Conservative Party of Canada, in order to vote you must provide identification using either:

 

• One original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government agency containing the member’s photograph, name and address

 

OR

 

• Two original pieces of identification, which contain the member’s name, one of which contains the member’s photograph and one of which contains the member’s address.

 

Please note that the identification requirements shall be subject to the exercise of discretion by the returning officer or equivalent to waive specific requirements where exceptional circumstances warrant. Eligible voters must hold a valid membership by February 22, 2018. An exception can be made for past members whose memberships have expired within 90 days of the voting date.
