Ford Motor Company to open warehouse and distribution centre in Leduc

The City of Leduc announced Tuesday Ford Motor Company will be building a new automotive parts warehouse and distribution centre in Leduc.

 

City_of_Leduc.pngThe City of Leduc made a significant announcement on Tuesday as they reveal Ford Motor Company will be coming to the Leduc region to build a new automotive parts warehouse and distribution centre which will serve Western Canada. 

"We are really excited that Ford Motor Company will be opening up a plant in Leduc. 400,000 square feet and will employ about 75 people, " stated Leduc Mayor Greg Krischke.

The structure will be the largest facility which they City has built in the Leduc Business Park when it is complete.

The site is slated to open up in the Fall of 2018.

Krischke also added he feels a big company like Ford coming to the region is great for the future growth of the City, as it shows other major companies how Leduc is a viable place to conduct business.
